Apply to PAFA
Application Options: PAFA Application & Common Application
Applicants may choose to apply to the BFA program through the PAFA Application through the Admissions Portal or through Common Application. The applications require the same materials, as well as adhering to the same submission and enrollment deadlines. Whichever you choose, applicants will need to create an account through the Admissions Portal.
Application Fee
Both applications charge a fee of $60 which is paid online when submitting your application. PAFA does accept fee waivers from the College Board, NACAC, and School Lunch Program. Students experiencing financial hardship can also request a fee waiver by contacting the Office of Admissions.
Using the Admissions Portal
During the admissions process, applicants may check the status of their application through PAFA's Admissions Portal.
- If you applied using PAFA's Application, you can sign in with the same application login. To track your progress in completing all the application requirements, use the 'Applications Summary' option.
- Common Application users will need to create an Admissions Portal account to check the status of their application. Use the same email entered on your Common Application.
Please note that only complete applications will be reviewed for admission. Applicants with missing requirements will be notified and should refer to the Application Summary page to see what materials are incomplete.
